I LOVE living in Door County, Wisconsin.
Surrounded by water there are so many endless places to see & explore.
I began making candles back in 2006.
I needed some "therapy" from my crazy busy day at work. I would always light a candle as part of my nightly ritual, and just decided to go ahead and start researching the process for something to do. I soon discovered I had a real passion for my newfound hobby. I dove in head first and soaked up any info I could get my hands on.
Lots of supplies, time, experimenting, testing, & making a ton of failed attempts were all necessary in bringing my product where it is today.
Little by little you learn, you succeed, your work evolves, & truly becomes who you are.

I create out of my little studio workshop in downtown Sturgeon Bay, WI
Like baking, it's all about precise measures of ingredients, temperatures, testing, and technique.
There is also a creative side with label & website design, display, setting up & selling at markets.
For me it's a perfect balance.
